Description
A flavoring agent that is a synthetic vanilla flavor. It is used in ice cream, beverages, and baked goods.
Function
As a flavorant, ethylvanillin is about three times as potent as vanillin and is used in the production of chocolates. Also used in the pharmaceutical industry.
