Function

Methyl nicotinate is used as a flavoring agent. It is used in the cosmetic industry as a filler in lip plumpers, to improve blood circulation in massage creams. It is also used in the pharmaceutical industry in peripheral vasodilators, as a rubefacient and counterirritant as well as in products for relieving aching muscles after exertion, and against rheumatic pains, lumbagoand fibrositis.
