Function
Benzyl Alcohol Technical grade is used as a general solvent in the formulation of inks and lacquers where its low volatility and low toxicity are advantageous. It is used as a raw material in the manufacture of various esters (such as benzyl formate, acetate, propionate, and butyrate) which are extensively used in the flavor and fragrance industries.
