Description

Benzyl Benzoate is used in topical formulations for the treatment of lice and scabies and has application in confectioneries and chewing gum.

Function

Benzyl Benzoate is widely used in the perfume and pharmaceutical industries. Its high molecular weight and nearly odorless nature make it a widely used perfume fixative. It also has application as a solvent for artificial musks, and as a plasticizer for cellulose acetate, and nitro cellulose

Storage
