Function

MEA is used in aqueous solutions for scrubbing certain acidic gases. It is used as feedstock in the production of detergents, emulsifiers, polishes, pharmaceuticals, corrosion inhibitors, chemical intermediates. In pharmaceutical formulations, MEA is used primarily for buffering or preparation of emulsions. MEA can be used as pH regulator in cosmetics.

Storage

Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Opened containers should be resealed and stored upright to prevent leakage. Store under inert gas.
